Volunteer Opportunities:
Receptionists answer phones and greet clients. Attendance at training and a four-hour weekly commitment are required.
Peer advocates meet with clients to teach parenting skills, discuss abortion and its alternatives, or lead abortion recovery, Relationship Reality, or Bible study classes. Attendance at training and a weekly commitment are required.
Data entry specialists come weekly to enter information from hard files into the database.
House beautifiers clean the facility.
Handymen/women do minor repairs (i.e., painting, plumbing) as needed.
Care Cottage volunteers sort, fold, and hang donated clothing and equipment.
Event support personnel work with the Leadership Team in advance of and at events such as the Banquet and Walk for Life.
Hospitality bakers occasionally provide snacks for events such as volunteer training.
Skilled professionals possess training in specialized areas such as health services and limited OBGYN sonography.
